Not too big, while the 41mm isn’t too small either. They’re both within the sweet spot. If you like one watch better than the other, that should be your choice.
That was my big problem back then; the size. A lot of people i have asked said 45mm is great even for small wrists and friends of mine said that 41mm is just fine as well. They said just buy whatever felt good and comfortable on my wrist. I have a small wrist so 41mm seems okay but 45mm is nice too.
Hard to tell from just the one picture to be honest. It doesn't look too bad at first sight although a size down might look a tad better. Yeah. Every picture I take everyone tells me it looks fine. I have TINY wrists. I had the watch 3 41mm which looked ok but was a little too small which is why I went for the 46.
The Apple Watch Ultra is just too big and heavy to be worn overnight. The quoted 61-gram weight is without the strap, and with the Ocean Band attached, it’s 95 grams. An Apple Watch Series 8
Feb 12, 2008. 387. 41. Oct 15, 2014. #16. 38mm is a standard size for classic/simple men's watches, so it will not look feminine, unless worn by someone with big wrists. However, in my opinion, wearing the bigger model with smaller wrists will look geeky and invoke the Android Gear image.

I have 6" wrists. I consider 38mm ideal, 40-42mm acceptable for non-dress watches, and over 42mm too large. I believe I'm 6.0" and the Speedy Pro definitely looks large on me, but I don't think it's excessive (maybe I'm wrong and no one has told me that I look ridiculous). 39mm also looks ok (to me).The length of the strap or bracelet is also an important part of a watch’s sizing. Smaller watches of up to 36mm usually look proportional on a 6” wrist or less. Mid-sized watches 38mm to 42mm will look proportional on a 6” to 7” wrist. Larger watches of 44mm to 46mm will look proportional on a 7” to 8” wrist. Here are the main sizing options available: 38mm/40mm: This size is suitable for the smaller Apple Watch models, including Series 1-6 and SE. 42mm/44mm: This size is designed for the larger Apple Watch models, including Series 1-6 and SE. Adjustable: Some Apple Watch bands come with adjustable straps, allowing them to fit a wide range of wrist Suspect it won’t make a big difference end to end, but the active display size difference will make it look bigger when using a colorful watch face. Like a 42mm mechanical watch with really thin bezels ends up looking larger on wrist than a 44mm watch with say a thick diver’s bezel and thus a smaller dial. 3. Share. Wrist size is individual, the right proportions are universal. Please note: OP41 is not a bigger OP36, it's a different watch. The coronet isn't bigger in proportion, the same for the text on the dial, the hands are out of proportion too. Everything on the dial is unique for the 41 and upsized to fit. Looks great!
If your wrist circumference is 6-7 inches – you have a small to medium wrist. Look for small to medium diameter watches of 38mm, 40mm, and 42mm. If your wrist circumference is 7.5 to 8 inches – you have a larger wrist. Look for watches with a diameter of 44mm, and 46mm.
Leaked cases show the Apple Watch Pro next to cases for the Apple Watch Series 7 and Series 8. The 49mm Pro is big compared to Apple’s 45mm and 41mm watches.
