Acceleration is the key to beating Darius. So the best car to beat Darius is any Tier 3 car that has an almost maxed out to maxed out acceleration or a high acceleration that you can jack up

pyber80 16 years ago #2. The physics for drifting changed somewhat between NFSU2 and Carbon. The devs were trying to get better realism I suppose. And I must admit, drifting in NFSU was a cake walk. I don't think there's a single drift that I didn't acquire at least 150k, up to ~400-500k for the later races.
