This is a pre-production build of the new Airfix B-25C/D Mitchell that I finished in November for the January issue of Airfix Model World magazine. A great little model of a very impressive aircraft. There were a couple of issues with this example though, one possibly to do with the pre-production nature of the kit, the other more a simple fix
QuickLook. Italeri has now released a B-52G to join the B-52H from 2006. This kit is substantially similar to the earlier release. Both are based on ex-AMT moulds. The main differences are the engine nacelles and the tail cone. Italeri's 1/72 scale B-52G comprises 149 light grey injection moulded styrene plastic parts and 1 clear part.

The kit provides marking options for two aircraft: B-25J-32-NA, unknown, 112 BG, CBI, 1945, 'Sunday Punch'. B-25J-10-NA, 44-29375, 17 RS/31 TRG, Luzon, 1945. This kit remains the best B-25 in 1/48 scale and at the current retail price of $25 USD (with lower street prices out there), this kit also remains the best bargain for a nice B-25 model

Posted August 22, 2020 (edited) Latest off the bench is the Italeri /Accurate Miniature's B-25 Mitchell in the markings of 320 Squadron. Decals by Dutch Decals. The kit is showing it's age a little and is bit of a beast size wise.
